Sales Executive

Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and customer-oriented Sales Executive to grow the market presence of Mechanics automotive materials, especially PVC synthetic leather and interior upholstery solutions. The role focuses on developing strong relationships with automotive upholstery workshops, distributors, car seat fabricators, dealers, and related industries while achieving sales targets and strengthening brand positioning.

The ideal candidate is proactive, commercially minded, and passionate about automotive interior products and premium material solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development

    • Develop and expand sales opportunities for Mechanics products.

    • Identify and approach new customers including:

      • Automotive upholstery workshops

      • Car seat fabricators

      • Automotive accessories stores

      • Distributors and wholesalers

      • OEM and project-based clients

    • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.

    • Conduct product presentations and material demonstrations.

    • Follow up quotations, negotiations, and closing processes.

    • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

    Customer Relationship Management

    • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable material solutions.

    • Provide after-sales support and maintain long-term partnerships.

    • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.

    • Monitor customer payment status and coordinate collections when necessary.

    Market Intelligence

    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer preferences.

    • Collect market feedback regarding product quality, design trends, and demand.

    • Report market opportunities to management.

    Brand & Product Promotion

    • Promote Mechanics as a premium automotive material brand.

    • Support exhibitions, product launches, and promotional activities.

    • Assist in developing sales strategies and marketing initiatives.

    Administrative & Reporting

    • Prepare sales reports and customer visit reports.

    • Update customer database and sales pipeline regularly.

    • Coordinate with internal teams regarding orders, delivery schedules, and inventory.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive, or related field.

  • Minimum 1–3 years experience in sales, preferably in:

    • Automotive industry

    • Synthetic leather

    • Upholstery materials

    • Interior furnishing materials

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Target-oriented and self-motivated.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Good networking and relationship-building skills.

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and sales reporting.

  • Possess own vehicle and valid driving license is preferred.
